Whats your price range? What style do you like?

I like natural, modern, and color. I decorated my place by picking a color/feel for each room and sticking with it. Dont get something just because you think its neat looking. If you do, make it your focal point and work from there.

Im a cheapass, so I only buy at Ross or TJMaxx. The stuff I see at Bed, Bath Beyond etc are there at literally 75%+ off. For art I use craft/home stores.

I would also suggest NOT buying online accessories. Home furnishings have a way of looking awesome in pictures and cheap when you finally get it. There are exceptions, of course, but I wouldnt rely on the net for common items. One-off pieces or artwork is a different story.

I personally like the Pottery Barn but it is expensive. Pier One has nice things too.

I don't really have a place to recommend as I just shop around really...and I prefer to go to the store rather than shop online esp. when it comes to furniture. Pictures are always nice but with touchups and etc., you never really know how "nice" something is unless you're there in person.

Here's a site I think is better than the one you found: http://myinteriordecorator.com/index.html

My girlfriend says IKEA. ikea.com

They have stuff on every show you see on TV. From The Real World to The Contender. She is always pointing it out, and when I say I don't believe her, she pulls out the catalog!!
