Arlo security camera system

Arlo security camera system
There marketing and pricing is on point. Here is what I mean. I got a 3 camera system with base. Price was $320. I love it. Want to expand by adding more cameras. 2 Camera package pair is $299. That seem kind of "expensive" or the 3 camera system was a bargain.
So my plan is to run two 3 camera system with base. Any comment on this plan? I think it's more cost effective. The only down side is the electricity cost of powering another base, and maybe the inconvenience of logging in with two IDs.

Can't you pair the 3 cameras with the original base rather than 2 bases?

I haven't run any of the wireless cameras yet but I am still running 3 of the Arlo-Q wired cameras. Two of them are indoors and one is actually installed outdoor under a roof and they are all still going strong after 3 years. The only issue I have had is when there are some firmware updates I lose my zone configurations which is a pain on my front door camera but I don't have zones set on the rest of them. I will most likely switch to IP cameras though down the road for my exterior cameras since it will just be easier overall to do.
