This is a very bad idea, You need to eat substance and get sufficient Carbs to match your protein Intake. You need the Carbs to keep the excess Protein from turning to fat. You also want the Carbs to give you energy to be able to workout to your full potential. You need to eat more carbs and some substance. I understand your trying to lose weight, but eating less is not going to help you achieve that, you just need to eat well-balanced meals. 2 protein shakes with 1 meal a day is a very unhealthy diet. This will cause your body to store more fat and have less energy.

I see too many people being too conservative and worried about caloric intake not being enough but in my experience it's better to err on the low side than the high side.
I'm not trying to argue at all, I know you're trying to help, but this diet is working very quickly with no sides as of yet.

So I'm taking 3 of Controlled Labs supps right now...
Green Magnitude, White Flood, and Purple Wrath.
I did my P90x workout tonight....and I'm split between what my results were from. I mean...P90x is a HARD ASS workout. And tonight is Chest & Back...the toughest non-aerobic workout IMO. Tonight I did a LOT more reps than last week when I did it. I don't know if it's more just me getting stronger...or maybe adding Purple Wrath (which I started taking last Wednesday) really gave me a bigger boost? I also noticed on ABX after C&B I could do noticeably more reps than last time I did it (Friday).
I'm not exactly sure yet. I'll hold off judgement...but I can't help but think that Purple Wrath definitely gave me an added boost of energy.

Amazon prime is a no brainer for me. I order nutrition stuff, electronics, hair products for me and the wifey, and all sorts of stuff all the time from amazon. Probably 20 to 30 things a year at the least, so the $80 works out to $4 or less for second day shipping. Kick ass. (Its $3.99 for overnight by the way, not $2).

Question for those taking multivitamins, specifically CL OrangeTriad...
They recommend taking 3 pills, 2x a day. I know this multi is for serious athletes. I lift at the gym 2-3 times a week, and usually play some basketball 1-2 times a week. And I'm going to get back to running once a week.
Do you guys think I could take 2 pills, 2x a day. Or should I go with their recommended dosage?

Honestly...you could probably just take 1.
They 'recommend' that...but my guess is the extra amount absorbed is trivial, and they just want you to go through the bottle faster so you can buy more.
I'm no dietician though....so maybe someone else can make a better suggestion.
I would say don't take more than 2.

Man, some of you guys take a lot of supplements. Isnt anyone scared of future kidney and liver problems? I work out 4-5days a week, take Mega Men multivitamins pretty much everyday and Cito gainer protien shake once in a while

I just had a physical with complete blood work and my kidney function showed normal, so I'm not too worried with my current regimen but I wouldn't go all out like some on here.

I'm admittantly on Anavar but compared to what's out there legally, the anavar is very mild and safe, it works, and it's been thoroughly researched by the medical community and athletes. I decided to do it because I'm done with competition and I would never have cheated. Now that it's just for myself I wanted to try it for 6 weeks. So far amazing results. My weight has remained more or less the same but the bodyfat is coming off at an amazing rate. Strength is amazing. Forget all of these so called fat burners and legal but dangerous steroids with fancy names. The day has finally come that most of the old illegal stuff is safer.

NO Shotgun for pre-workout
Optimum creatine monohydrate

I've been eating way more during the day, every two hours and drinking over a gallon of water daily, and my strength has shot up tremendously. I'm 6'3'', 190 and my goal is to be around 240 lbs. Two years ago I weighed only 150.
I used to take animal pump pre-workout and that stuff was amazing, but it's like 8 pills to take and I didn't want to add those to the other 12 I'm taking already.
Now I'm taking:

I'm very similar to that right now. I'm 6'3, and about 203 right now.
I really started working out hard and changing the way I have been eating since March. And since then I've been refining my diet even more and right now I'm eating better than I ever have. The only little bit of a problem I think I may have still is not eating enough for gaining. I haven't been weighing myself until just a few weeks ago, so I can't exactly say if my routine is working. Especially since I've only been pushing for a few months.
I'd eventually like to get up around 240-250. It'll take a good long while, but I'm up for it.

GNC triple strength fish oil (twice a day when I work out, once on non workout days)
Optimum aftermax post work out (40g carbs, 40g whey concentrate, 5g creatine, 5g glutamine)
Body Fortress whey isolate (it's cheap but isn't bad) 1.5 scoops= 45g whey isolate
I am thinking of taking some sort of pump product pre-workout not sure what though. I had a sample of C4 and that shit got me moving and left me feeling all tingly lol.

I mainly take body fortress whey protein, mixed with 2% milk after workouts, I do not do this everyday though, other times I just do a protein shot, or get a protein smoothie after working out.

I recommend going with what I posted if your on a budget although the aftermax isn't cheap. Creatine is worth a shot, but get something better than just monohydrate as it can be harsher on the kidneys and liver.

Just started taking micronized creatine mononhydrate, loaded for a week and now doing 5mg a day for maintenance. Already I feel more energized and recover faster from set to set at the gym. I do notice a little bloat in the belly from it, but I know it'll go away when I'm done cycling so no worries.
I love that I can set PR's every time I lift since I've only been lifting since November. The creatine is only adding to it.
