what dental insurance do you have?
i need to buy an individual plan. im looking for something that covers the basic cleanings and covers a good percentage of the more expensive stuff. copay is fine and im willing to spend $20-30 a month if the coverage is good on most stuff.
im 22 and my teeth are in good shape so i don't think i will be needing to much stuff (but just in case)

you still got your wisdom teeth? i have aetna dmo and they're pretty good, pretty much unlimited cleaning and co-pay is 20-100 depending on the procedure. the important thing is finding a good dentist that is HONEST and will not OVER CHARGE you.

yea i need to get my wisdom teeth extracted though. the last dentist i went to tried to tell me that the basic cleaning that was free under my insurance wasn't what i needed and for 150 more i can get a better cleaning. i was like fuck no.

I have a dental plan through work which is way cheaper than a private plan.
Just remember wisdom teeth are usual sent to an oral surgeon who will always charge you above and beyond your regular dental coverage so make sure you read the plan.

I also have delta dental insurance through my work.. like $6 a month. As a matter of fact just went to the dentist twice this past month; the cleaning was free and had to get some composite back on a chipped tooth cus it fell out and they paid 50%.

im purchasing a blue cross dental plan from my school for 340 a year. so that comes out to about $28.33 a month.
I dont think they cover the wisdom teeth extraction. But im not sure because i havent gotten their coverage brochure. I dont think any dental plan covers that. so whats a good out of pocket price to pay for that? is it around 1500? ive heard its about 400 a tooth to get it extracted.
