I've been doing about 45 minutes of research here and on Google .. Just wanted to see if there's any real-world testaments here as to if they work or not, but seems like the general consensus here says they don't do shit to speed up weight loss/fat burning.

From what I understand, Hydroxycut has been reduced to utter crap since Ephedra was banned, and basically everything that says "take this for weight loss yadayada" are hoaxes.

Anyone wanna confirm? BTW I know, I know .. "stfu and just diet & exercise", which is what I'm doing, but I wanna see if I can cheat a little bit.

Ephedra works, but do your research before talking.....The rest are basically caffiene, which when combined with good diet and exercise can help a bit...

i've used lipo6x, but i don't anymore bc i stopped working out. however look up a acid call CLA, lip06x has it in it as well as other thing. but for any type of weight loss to occur with CLA u need about 2400mg so i also supplemented with additional CLa and got about 3000mg a day. once you get on a run with it, you do have energy through out the day, you do feel a cinch of warmness. i did not weigh myself but i could see visually see that i have lost some wight and was not that hungry during the day. i haven't used it in a while but i am planning on using it and also stacking it with an anabolic as well as protein. i just haven't had the time to get back into working out since my day starts at 6am and ends at 8pm because of school and work and does not including homework.

I've found some of the suppliments to work a little.

Hydroxycut pretty much sucks. What I've found is it dehydrates you so you notice an immediate 5lb loss so you think it works great but in reality it does nothing for you.

There's ephedera and caffiene, and T3 and T4. Not sure if the last two are legal or not.

I will typically drink a lot of coffee for my cutting. You will never see a difference unless you already have a great diet. Most of these products will boost your metabolism by 2-4% so diet is still the most important factor.

There's always DNP. Very illegal and very dangerous. I watched my roommate sit around for a week sweating with the AC turned down to 58 degrees. You run a fever the whole time and it can kill you. You're not supposed to do any physical activity so if you have a job it's not the thing for you. He lost 9lbs that week from sitting on the couch 24/7 and doing nothing. It boosts metabolism by something like 50% but is not worth it IMO.

Anavar is another way to go. It's a very mild anabolic with very low side effects. Most of my friends have used it with extremely impressive results. It won't make you put on mass but it cuts the belly fat and gives you a very lean hard looking physique. I'm not recommending anyone try anything illegal but with virtually no side effects and good results it's something to look into.

Took ephedra a few times in high school as part of a supplement that was supposed to give you energy. Felt it worked, and lost a shit ton of weight as well.

EC stack works very good, and is very cheap compared to all the new fatburners these days. I would take an EC stack over Lipo-6 anyday.

well....i'm going to the Bahamas in the next few months and i have been slacking considerably...so as i stated before i had used lipo 6x...

this time i'm going a different route and going to run with VPX Meltdown. it's a new product but i have read extensive reviews on it and it beets anything else out there. the stuff in it is very closely related to ephedra and all i have heard is a positive review of it. this plus some protein and possibly anabol-5or vpx nitrox after workout. i do not want to use creatine.

ephedra definitely works... i found that even the lite pills (i tested out lipodrene) gave me bad shakes and i discontinued use. however, i lost about 50 pounds over 4 months with diet + exercise... i had a few weeks before i was going on a vacation and wanted to drop some more weight so i used a supplement called tetrazene. i felt like it worked as it reduced my hunger/gave me energy and i ended up losing an extra 10-12 lbs in about 3 weeks. ps tetrazene is ephedra free.

It'll take a little longer but just diet and exercise, that is ultimately what it will come down to anyway.

Don't play with any of this stuff, more than likely you won't have lasting side effects but still, if you do it on your own once you will know you can do it on your own again further down the road. Legal or not, you are talking about steroids, really man? That is how you want to start this whole getting into fitness thing?

Isn't acai one of those new berries they discovered that's like a super anti oxidant. Aren't they too high in sugars?

I use Chromium with grapefruit extract. It helped me take a little off. They sell it at Publix. The key is the grapefruit.

My wife when we were getting married took those Brazilian pills. Most of them are amphetamines from what I hear. She did drop weight like crazy.

Have known 2 people who tried and tried a whole bunch of different fad diets, pills, supplements, and gimmicks. Fact is, they ended up in much worse shape (heavier) than had they not done a thing. Those pills screw with your metabolism and natural chemistry. The truth is, losing weight or gaining muscle takes hard work and commitment. There's just no other way to do it without screwing yourself in the long-run. And btw, there's no such thing as a pill that "burns fat", so don't bother.

DNP comes pretty damn close, but it is way too dangerous for my tastes.

I'll do an EC stack every once and a while just to give myself a kick, but just once per day and only for a few days.

With all the legal steroids out there I just went back to old faithful for a little extra kick.

Anavar powder with beta alanine powder and Krealkaly powder mixed together. Most amazing stuff I've ever been on and much safer than the "legal" stuff.

Yeah, two years later I'm still a fatass. Sitting down for 14+ hours a day doing homework for a Computer Science degree cancels any exercise I throw at myself .. and being in college, diet is horrible.

ECA stack no longer works for me. I've heard I've gotten the wrong "E" pills, the pseudoephedrine pills I've been buying all this time doesn't do shit. I gotta get some Ma Huang somewhere .. Actually I might just get Ripped Fuel Extreme or Xenadrine XT, anyone try those?
