Teeth Hurty
I went to the dentist a few weeks ago to have a cavity filled and since I have a toothache every night. Thing is, its not a tooth, but an area of my mouth and gives my headaches....Not sure if its something I should go back to the dentist or a doctor....

Are you clenching your teeth? I just went for an ortho consult because my lower teeth are getting crowded (had braces 30 years ago) and he said I, like many others, clench my jaw while I sleep. The pressure from the uppers are moving the lowers into a crowd.
Long story short I get braces on 4/9, and I'll be wearing a mouth guard/retainer at night after the estimated 18 month treatment is done.
Maybe get an orthodontic consult....

damn whiskers.. I had a bad toothache caused by a sour wisdom tooth. The tooth itself didn't hurt but the connecting nerves were agitated. It resonated down my jaw to the back of my head. The only thing that helped was large amounts of wine. I would definitely head back and get it resolved. Hopefully you're still not in pain.

is it an upper tooth in the back.. did you have any sinus problems lately. ? it is the season and i have a lot of people coming into my office thinking they have a problem with a tooth when in actuality, it is a stuffy sinus. Augmentin usually does the trick.

it might be related. what kind of pain are you feeling exactly. if the pain sharp or dull. does it wake you up at night? is it sensitive to hot or cold. ? i know my head has been hurting everynight for the past few weeks but i know its my sinus. or another thought. does the tooth feel like the filling is high. do you feel that when you bite you feel the tooth that was filled first.. it could be possible that the filling could be slightly high, that would definetelly cause headaches. when you went back to the dentist to let him look at it did he check your bite with the little blue paper. ?

sometimes initially fillings can be sensitive. its a good sign that it is getting better though. you could be clenching during the day if it happens after 4pm everyday.

Dude probably hit a nerve with his drill, it just makes it feel like it's the other tooth. Enjoy the final days you have with your tooth.
