Sugar-Free Ice Cream or Fat Free Yogurt
I was in the mood for some fake ice cream today so my choice was sugar free ice cream (Spenda - no calories, but real dairy) or frozen yogurt (fat free but has sugar). I chose the sugar free iced cream (it was very good by the way) and the Ben and Jerry's dude asked if I was a diabetic.

I think it comes down to calories...Sugar free ice cream still has a ton of calories. Whereas you can find fat free yogurt with no sweetener.
I'm about to make homemade ice cream tonight for freezing on Friday...using Splenda & "lite" cream...probably put sugar free York Peppermint patties in it & a few regular Andes candies...
If you like mint chocolate ice cream, it's the shizzle.

I was always wondering if those things were actually better for you. I remember eating something that had a fat free label and my friend said that fat free just means full of carbs. Are the carbs worse for you than the fat that would have been in it?

I can see if you are on a no carb diet(in the first few weeks of one anyhow) and not wanting the sugar carbs, but a calorie is just a calorie, IMHO.
