Sprained my ankle, ok to workout?
I fairly sprained my ankles two weeks ago. It was swollen but now it's ok, still a bit. And I do feel pain if I make rapid movements or put too much pressure while performing certain activities.
Should I workout? I went to the gym once and didn't run or do any leg workout, my ankle was sore the next day.

I might go light, do mainly upper body workouts like the rowing machine. If you need to abuse the ankle I might wear some support like a tight bandage

I have had a bad ankle for a while, months really. I went to a normal doctor and he couldn't find anything wrong with it. I have a referral, but still haven't gone to a specialist. I have been running about 10 days now on it, but I use 2 wraps when I run. Before running it would be a little sore now and then, but even after running now it doesn't hurt. I think my problem was a ligament or some tissue that was weak and I just made it stronger. My swelling has gone down, so I'm happy.
And I realize this has nothing to do with what you posted, but I already typed the damn thing so I'm gonna post it If you do work out, I would recommend getting a wrap for your ankle. I have one that you slide your foot through and then wrap around the ankle, and another that you place your foot on the wrap and strap 4 velcro straps around your ankle. Option 1 I wear everyday for now, and is more comfortable than option 2.

Yeah I have both types of wraps, I'll start using them.
