Skin tags

Any one got these. For those of you who may not know what they are, they are little pieces of extra skin almost pimple like that generate on your body and or face. Anyone know how to get rid of these or keep them from popping up? I guess I could go to a dermatologist, but that would get expendy since I have a ton of them. BTW I take frequent showers and am not a dirty person by any means. I saw a cream online but it looked kind of sketchy.

I don't bill for a doctor's office, so take this with a grain of salt.

But, if you have insurance it should be covered under your deductible for an office visit. I know that hospitals can bill for up to 15, and it's only a ~$50 reimbursement.

I have one near my eye I need to get excised.

Actually, they probably will remove them all at once. I've had two removed and she froze them off the same way you would remove a wart. I accidently shaved one off one time, but it eventually grew back and it was painful. Just go to the Dr.

Yeah, and depending on what your insurance is it's about the same as a visit.

I guess I'll just sack up and go to the DR. I hate doctors offices/ hospitals. Its nice to know they may do them all at once tho. I would also like to ask them if they know how to keep them from popping up again. Ive only started to get them within the last couple of years.

Caution when dealing with skin tags.. my buddy thought he had a skin tag on his neck. He accidently nicked it with his razor and decided to cut what was left of it off.. turned out to be a wart. The warts spread like wild fire. He spent over a year and almost weekly doctor visits to remedy the outbreak. He's still dealing with them today, but it's not nearly as bad as the onset.

I had one on the back of my neck a few years back. I swear I went in for a normal check-up with my physician, asked him what it was, and he sliced it off, stitched it up, and sent me on my way. I swear I don't think he even charged me for it.
