proper heart rate for fat burning?
title says it all. is there a diffrence between burning fat and carido heart rate. like for instance if your rate is 90 is it better for burning fat than say 140-150

yes, you burn a higher percent of calories from fat at a lower heart rate (60-65% of max). you burn more calories overall (and more from fat, but at a lower % vs. total) at a higher rate (80-85%), but you won't be able to keep up that rate as long.
a rate of 90 won't do jack. there are certain formulas to determine where your target heart rates should be (try google), but in general I shoot for between 130-150 for low intensity.

90 HPM won't do anything. Beetroot is correct, 60-65% of max -- typically calculated as 220 minus your age -- is the best for burning fat, so for you, a HR of 118-127 would be best. If you're in better shape, you can increase that.

depends on the shape you are in, but thats a good ballpark number.
try this:
220 - (age + resting HR) = y
y * .65 (65% = HR for fat burning)
+ (resting HR) = highest HR for fat burning
so for me:
220 - (25 + 55) = 140
140 * .65 = 91
91 + 55 = 146
So basically anything less than 146 would be considered low intensity, anything above high intensity.

I don't think its bad. A guy I used to run with would be in the 180's when I was at 160 or so and he was in perfect health.
Also a few factors to consider - Is it up that high just from jogging or is that from a sprint? What kind of shape are you in? How old are you? Are you new to running?

Also you max HR is a absolute, and it doesn't go by the formula.
In an intense period I can get to 190. (although it feels like my heart will explode)
Take into account that I am 35 and a resting HR of around 40. and right after I wake up it is in the low 30s.
I have had paramedics ask me unusual questions on some of my rides in ambulances.

are you an ex (or current) road biker? how did you get your resting rate so low?

Before I started road riding almost 14 years ago my resting pulse was around 65.
I also have problems donating blood, as it is below the minimum that they will take(45)

Pit Stop?
Mine is 80? Is that bad?
And my average heart rate is like........150-170 depending on what I'm doing when I'm working out. I've seen 200s before, during like full sprints and things of that nature.

Hmmm makes me want to buy a heart monitor watch, because sometimes I work myself to the brink of passing out.

No, thats not bad. As you continue to do cardio over time you will see it come down.
