Post pics of your Progress

psych...no pics yet bishes

I know there is a major :ghey: phobia up in this hizouse so before I jump off this cliff and post pics, i thought id check to see if i need a flame suite.

A lot of us range from strict dieters to hardcore body builders to just casual lifters. I was looking through some of my pics and found a picture of me 4 years ago less 45 pounds (lifted 5 says a week four years since then). I thought it would be interesting for everyone post pics of where we started, what we did and for how long, and where we ended up.

Since this may include,,,dare i say it,,,shirtless dudes, and possibly an e-penis comparison. I thought i'd check to see if there was any interest before the thread gets crapped up with useless posts...

Thoughts?

While I understand where you're going with this, any thread as such will turn into one gigantic :ghey: fest. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'll see if I have before and afters. I have some crappy low res pics from a couple years ago. I've gained about 15lbs since then. But I need to get a proper after shot taken first, which will be a couple weeks. I'll check in then.

I was actually going to do a before and after shot for beginning of summer and end of summer.

School and bad eating habits has jacked me up these past 2 months and I ended up losing 15 pounds. Hopefully my after will be me @ a solid 165 by the end of summer.

However, finals has not ended and summer has not started. *continues to eat left over buffalo wing from hooter's*

ok....so this thread isnt a total failure.....post pics of you feel so compelled, otherwise stories including these three things will do:

1. Where you started

2. What you did and for how long

3. Where you are now

I started with an average build of 5'10" 190lbs at 20 yrs old. I've always had a natural chest and arms but an otherwise "husky" frame.

When I got to college at 21, i started lifting 5 days a week on a strict lifting and cardio program with aboslutly zero diet or concern for what I ate. Basically, the frat dick workout. I continued with total dedication to lifting an no diet and graduated 4 years later with a 240 lb frame, still 5'10".

I left college built like a pro wrestler. Large defined arms, chest, legs with a pudgy belly and love handles. Now that I'm out in the workforce, I havent done any consistant physical activity in over a year. I still have the large chest arms and legs, but my waistline is ever expanding. I now wear a size 40 pants

:Was 135lbs and around 6ft sept '04

:Then lifted 4-5x week for 4 months...ate chicken and meats, took creatine and whey protein and gained 20 lbs. also could lift about double to 2.5x what I could when I started

:Now lift 3x week and weigh 140,: and my strength is increasing, but starting to plateau

:Goal is to get defined and bigger, but I know I will never be huge.

Just walk, and take the kid with you in a stroller. Believe me, if you walk brisk enough and far enough, it will work.

Here's a pic when I was almost at my biggest (few years ago). Got slightly larger muscle-wise, but no pics of then.

Here's a pic taken after I'd stopped working out for ~2 months and lost quite a bit of muscle (also a few years back).

Haven't really worked out the past few years due to a bad knee, but would love to get into it again. Never felt better. Also, all gains were done completely naturally!! --- Not even a protein shake or supplements...just eating right and exercising.

EDIT: Apparently I'm the only one who took this seriously and actually posted a pic.

Well, i dont really have before pictures. But lets see.

I started working out sophmore year of highschool, i weighed in at 130 lbs about.

I bulked to around 165, and was quite big, at 5,7.

However, i cut down, and im currently at 150/155~ with a 245 lb benchpress....

You're very similar to me, although you have more muscle mass. If you dont mind, send me a PM and tell me what kind of lifting you do? I am plateauing and need some new stuff, and I figure u are just like me body-wise.

i aint got shit to post, but I can tell you i lost roughly 30 pounds since i started working out at the beginning of december 2004, and i had lost another 10 pounds just by eating healthier before that (like 2 months before). i went from pants size 38 to size 32-34. i also gained muscle mass, that's for sure, and more endurance.

I'll keep working out that's for sure, i've never felt so good before... and ive got another 10 pounds to lose and some muscles to grow :p

P.S. Muscle actually weighs more than fat - so don't go based on the numbers on the scale. You can actually be heavier, but much leaner and heathier even though you weigh more. You can even look dramatically different by staying the exact same weight - lose fat, but replace that 'weight' with muscle.
