OK, so I am getting ready to start the second phase of the Get Insanity workout program, and Holy Sheet!

I usually pre-watch the video so I know the routines, and this just looks absolutely bananas!

The fitness instructors they use as actors are dropping out of the routines!

I am scared.

I am only half way through the "Get Insanity" workout program (travel puts the damper on keeping to the schedule exactly), but holy hell it's rigorous for a plyometric cardio program. I highly recommend it.
Holy shit how did I miss this thread! Congrats!! <-Not too much of this though.

But man, I'm glad you're down by 20lbs Stogie. Doesn't it feel great when you're wearing a certain t-shirt and it floats a bit more? I may need to start that program soon when I hit my target goal.

I'm exactly 15-20lbs away from my goal, I'm still at 195 but far from the 252 I came from. If you want to lower your body fat even more, I suggest water, it really helps and rarely ever fails, a few bottles of it everyday does a lot.

Just make sure you're stationary at home and your toilet seat is raised.

Every time I decline an offer to have some cake, a little part of me dies inside.

Thanks! Sounds like you are on the right track, too! Good work! Jeez, 50+ pounds is awesome.

It really kicks the llama's ass! I believe diet gt me 70% of the way, and the brutal exercise gave me the motivation (and the other 30%) to keep the diet going. Knowing I was kicking my ass working out made me think twice about eating foolishly on a daily basis.

Jumping in a bit late here -- I took a look at fitday.com, their database wasn't to my liking; I had to enter data for everything I ate today. Then I took a look at livestrong.com -- much more complete food database. Everything I ate today was in there and the data verified by livestrong.com staffers.

Cool, glad you found one that you like. I only eat abot 40 different items in thecourse of a week, and didn't mind inputting the values I wanted onto Fitday. I found that a lot of the pre-input values were not the same as what I was finding for whole food such as chicken breast, broccoli, etc.. so it was nice to be able to do some web searching and find the values, then input them.

While I don't use it much anymore, the detailed logging of my caloric intake on a daily basis was the single most useful thing in helping me lose some weight.
