Looks vs Strength
I always wondered about this.
Let's say John and Mike are friends who work out together. John is 5'10 and weighs 180 lbs and Mike is 5'10 and 160. John looks bigger than Mike and has a lot more muscle, but Mike can lift a lot more. Which one would you rather be, the guy who looks bigger or the guy who is stronger?

Well I personally would go for both, cause you could be really strong, but not be fit (body/fat ratio wise) not to mention look crappy, so I said if I had to choose, looks and then build the strength

I'm already pretty damn weak, so I'd say looks. I would feel alot better about myself KNOWING that I'm hot rather than the knowledge in the back of my brain that I'm stronger than I look (which I am now, but it still amounts to weaker than most). Generally, mass = strength anyway if your body fat % is low.

Looks > strength hands down. Some people have a natural good look, but I'm talking a fit look. I would rather have a washboard stomach that looks like I work out not just skinny, over being strong and flabby. I would rather be judged on my physiuqe than " how much you bench", "how much you squat" and have no definition.

well according to the example provided I said strength because I was assuming that he meant you look fit, but are stronger than you look.
If it was a matter of looking like shit but being strong vs. looking strong and being weak then I would choose looks.

Same height and weight - one guy looks bigger but can't lift as much, while the other guy doesn't have the muscle size but is stronger...
