Leptorexin - Fat loss supplement, scam?
I have a friend wanting to try this out but I've always been leery of these fat loss products because of the possibility that they're harmful. Anybody here have experience with them? She asked me what I think but I don't know anything about the stuff.
Here's their site:

Raise your metabolism, move (exercise), strengthen muscles, eat well and reasonably, exert more than you take in = fat loss the proper, healthy way.
If there was an easy answer or a magic drug, there wouldn't be any struggle to lose weight, less obesity, less fad diets, and the drug companies would be even more rich than they already here.
IMO, there's NO SIMPLE WAY.
My views are to steer WAY CLEAR of any type of drug. Fat does not "burn" or "melt" with the pop of a pill. IMO, some of them are probably pretty dangerous (especially if they aren't FDA approved) and can really mess with your system (metabolism, other systems).

What are the other effects of this "supplement"? Most every pill, supplement, or medication has some kind of side effects, whether they be positive or negative, major or minor. Will this supplement also affect her heart, her metabolism, her blood pressure, her absorption of good nutrients, give her headaches, and on and on and on. Some are minor annoyances, but what are the risks of something greater being disturbed by this pill? And for what it's worth, most pills make you lose water weight, so you might notice something at first, but it doesn't change your overall fat percentage.
There's a reason why people yo-yo all the time. Lose weight, gain weight, etc, etc. You really mess with your system when you keep trying to "fool" it. The only way to take off fat (besides liposuction, etc) is to burn it off by exercising and/or gaining muscle, by eating well (moderation), by being committed to make a change, or by being ill (physical disease, anorexia - where your body breaks down fat and muscle from being starved, etc.).
What happens when she stops all these pills and supplements? Don't you think she'll bounce right back up UNLESS she is committed to keeping it off with healthy habits.
Logically, again, if there was a really easy supplement/pharmaceutical fix for fat, don't you think EVERY doctor would've prescribed it to every patient in need of losing weight by now? Don't you think they'd stop with the stomach surgeries, type 2 diabetes meds, blood pressure pills, etc. by now if they could eliminate some of these just by prescribing a pill to people to lose weight?

My soccer team was hooked on thermadrine during high school. We took it because we thought it gave us more energy. I am convinced it did. I dropped 10 pounds. Kind of crazy.

Worst I ever took was Ripped Fuel back in the days of ephedrine. But it worked as far as increasing energy and raising my metabolism.
If I want a thermagenic today...I drink Green Tea.

Its not so much a "you put your health at risk" thing. Its more "rapid weight loss increases your chances of putting it back on just as fast"

That would make just about anyone lose weight. I would blame it on your diet and not no much anything else you took along with it.

My wife dropped 30 pounds on Alli. Her mom is now trying it and is down 19.
That stuff works, but only if you read the included documentation and truly follow the diet that comes with it (re: low fat). The anal leakage mentioned only occurs if you deviate from the diet.
It is critical to note however that it is NOT a good strategy for someone looking to put on muscle mass, and it should only be used in cycles. According to my wife's doctor your body will eventually build up an immunity to it.

Not that I can remember. This was 6 or 7 years ago. We got what was called the 'thermadrine burn' in the chest. Otherwise they were great. You still have to exercise a shit ton, so I'm not sure the pill actually did anything although I like to think it did.
