LA Fitness memberships - Atlanta GA

I have been a member of Bally's Total Fitness for nearly three years now, and it is getting kind of old, I am not real happy with the gym anymore and plus my contract has about 6 months left. I am looking to join another gym, but don't want to sign another contract. I've heard LA Fitness offers month-to-month memberships, is this true, if so how much would it be for just me?

I joined LA Fitness a few years ago. I got the no frills plan for $35 a month with no hidden fees. I have access to the entire gym except for the raquet ball courts and I can't bring a guest except with special passes they give out from time to time. Since then it's gone up to $37 because of NJ taxes but I think it's worth it.

just looked into it last week and the guy was "giving me a deal" because I was a referral. It was either $30 or $35 a month depending on the start up fee... which I believe was either $100 or $150. So it would be $100 + $35 a month + tax, or $150 + $30 a month + tax. This was all access so it included racquetball.

I forgot to mention the start up fee. I think it was $100 but I can't remember.

If you lived on the southside I'd recommend my gym to you, no contract just straight $33 a month but there are no basketball courts/swimming pools.. its just a basic gym.

There are a few in Jersey, North Bruns, Piscataway, & Wayne that I know of. If I'm not mistaken the 35 a month only allows you to go within the state. It costs more if you were to travel around alot and have access to all the Gyms.

Basically you pay the first month and last month up front with a sign up fee of $100.00 if I'm not mistaken. I paid 170 the day I signed up. This way when you decide you're done.. you already have the last month paid.

I have been a member of LA fitness for 2 years now..love it! $34.99 a month, cancel anytime, or you can freeze your account for up to a month too! Not sure what side of town you are on, but they are building 2 new ones in Buford and Snellville, the buford one should be open in the next couple of weeks
