I need quick and healthy breakfast suggestions.
I just got back from a week vacation in Mexico and I gained a few lbs. I wasn't skinny before, but now I need some help.
I'm not a morning person and I'm always running late. I usually grab a granola bar and a banana or do a slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter. I just need some more suggestions as to what I can eat that good for me and quick.

My usual stuff:
Powerbar or Cliff bar
Fruit
Yogurt/granola
Instant oatmeal
Cliff bars are the best IMO. 99 cents, 250 calories, tastes great and you won't be hungry for a while after.

I eat oats sometimes, but the taste just gets old. I can eat themn for two weeks and then I need two months off.
I've made smoothies before. My favorite is ice, skim milk, 2 tbsp, peanut butter and a whole bannana. Sometimes I sub, the skim for plain vanilla yogurt.
Is that type of meal to many calories fir the morning?
Also, how soon should I be eating after I get up?

I've gotten out of bed and done squaw peak a few times in the las few weeks. Then came home, ate a light, healthy breakfast, and felt great all day.
I'll try the steel oats. Where to buy?

I eat cereal, try Kashi Go Lean cereal, 13g of protein and 10g of fiber. Doesn't taste bad either. If I don't have time for that, I'll get a 100% wheat bagel, spread some natural peanut butter on it, and take that along with me.

I'm going to loose weight with no excercise. It can be done. You burn 65 calories and hour laying on the couch watching TV. If I only eat 1000 calories a day, I'll loose weight.

Fastest healthy breakfast...
Old Fashioned Oats (Raw) i usually do 2/3 cup
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop whey protein
blend for 30 sec. drink. done.
It's good because ur body has been fasting 7-10 hrs (hopefully) and needs protein quick.

Controversial topic...i only do cardio on a fasted state usually(mornings), but do cardio 2-3 times a week.
If i was Uber anal about preserving muscle mass, i woudlent do it, but i dont really care that much on account that im not trying to gain weight right now since its summer.

Crabcakes and Football!!!
Special K bar. Especially the blueberry ones. Mmmm. I have one of those as I'm headed to work in the morning and it actually fills me until I can grab a snack later

god, i sure do like cheerios. w/ skim milk. or special K. and bananas.
nutrigrain bars are good, but they don't fill up. also, boil an egg. you can boil it the night before, stick it in the fridge, and just crack and peel in the morning, hot or cold.
grapefruit juice, fresh fruit, toast w/ jam, etc...

1/2 cup of oats

Edit: Some people throw in a scoop or two of whey to add even more protein. Most use vanilla, but Vitamin World has an unflavored whey mean specifically for cooking if you're interested.

Some natural PB on wheat toast would probably be a good starter if you want something in your stomach.
I ran for the first time (in the morning) today and it felt good, finished it off with some total raisin bran w/ a sliced banana and skim milk
I'm only doing a mile in the morning just to limit how much I have to pound on concrete but I usually jog up until about 200m left and then finish 90%. The people driving by when I was on my last leg were probably like "holy fuck" this kids out here sprinting in the morning haha.

I drink 1/2 a cup of coffee with 2 splendas and a little creamer and a bowl of cereal. The cereal is usually something decent tasting like Special K or Corn Flakes. Gotta be careful with the sugarry cereals including some of the non-cartoon character ones.
