Healthiest, yet most effective Protein Bars/Cookies
I'm looking for something with the lowest sugar, carbs, and fat, but high on protein. I know there's always a trade off with these bars, but basically just wondering what everyone thinks is the best for a quick snack. I dont care about the taste, just as long as it throws some quick protein into the system.
I take the Apex cookies sometimes right after the gym because they sell them there. They're pretty good and dont seem to be high in fat, but the sugar is a little higher then I would like. 1 cookie is like 12g of protein.
Thanks

Anything that's high on protein and low on fat and sugar is gonna taste like ass. So much like ass that i doubt you'll be able to finish it.
For a "balanced" meal bar i love these. They actually taste good - http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1708. They're not what you want if you're looking for only protein though.
A quick look through 1fast400's site got me these, they're probably more like what you're after - http://www.1fast400.com/product_revi...eviews_id=8443
Or you could try making your own protein bars.

i usually blend a protein shake beforehand so it's ready right after a workout, BUT if i'm too lazy or not able to make one, i'll grab a Detour bar...these days, they have a low-carb and low-sugar bars, but i still just use the regular...here's the label for the regular bars...they've changed a bit since a few years ago...
