Hanging upside down? Helps back, circulation, etc
I got a friend at work that had lower back problems and was constantly getting massages and going to the chiropractor. After several visists the chiropractor suggested him to get a teeter hang-up.
He hangs on it for 5 mins in the morning and before bed. He bikes a lot but is out of shape looking (big belly) so all that hunching and gut weight probably is the cause of the back pain. He says though he has been feeling great. Anyone try this?

I'll ask my physical therapist about it. No one's suggested inversion for my lower back injury.

Needs more Lemon Pledge
Knew a guy a while ago who wrestled, played rugby, etc. and said the inversion therapy was a miracle for his back.
I would love to give it a try sometime just to see how it feels.
Basically, it induces mild gravitational traction on your spine.

My physical therapist's take on it:
She's not a fan because of (a) the whole blood-to-the-head thing and the potential to pass out, (b) it's not specifically targeted to anything in the back in particular, so you don't know if it'll do anything for you, and (c) it can aggravate cervical problems in the neck (that you may not even be aware of).

People have been trying this crap for hundreds of years, it just gets popular (again) every few decades.
