Good quality stationary bike for under 1K?

I broke my ankle 2 months ago yesterday and have been going to physical therapy for 2 weeks now. They got me on a bike for the first 10 minutes to loosen my ankle up. While riding Tuesday, I was really impressed with the bike I was on. It was extremely well built - solid and smooth. I remembered the name and model number, and I was going to look into getting it for the house.

Well, the Life Fitness 90c sells for $2800 on the internet. WTF? It was nice, but not that nice.

Do any of you guys have a bike at home or can recommend one that is quality for under $1000? I see these $500 New Balance and Schwinn's at Dick's, but they seem pretty cheap.

Costco has good prices on some bikes. I can't speak from personal experience, but this looks pretty good....

That is a spinner bike, (38Lbs wheel) you defiantly don't want that for rehab after physical therapy. because there is no coasting on a spinner bike, you are likely to damage your ankle worse.

But Costco does have a good bike

Or if you have a halfway decent bike at home you can get a fluid trainer for around $300 which you mount your bike into.
