Fitness watch?

The wife is getting tired of replacing batteries in her pedometer. The only thing I see to solve that is a fitness watch that is rechargeable. Can you set your stride on a fitness watch like a pedometer? Since I am cheap <$50 would be nice.

I use a Polar M400. Its not super high tech, but its water proof, GPS enabled (great for running), has an app that accompanies it, and if you spend the extra you can sync the bluetooth heart rate monitor with it. It counts steps and all that stuff, you can get incoming text messages from your phone (not in color).

I mainly use it for running but a charge will last several days. If you don't use the GPS feature for running a charge can last well over week. Best part is used on ebay you can find em for 40-50 bucks!

Got her a Fitbit Alta. She likes it, which is always a good thing.
