Eye bags

So, I probably have the darkest and deepest eye bags of any human being that's ever graced the earth. I've been reading a bit online of some home remedies and creams, but I wanted to get some input here as well. I'm a college guy going to a difficult school, so getting the right amount of sleep every night is an impossibility if anything.

Anyone have experience with these home remedies?

Most of the remedies are just gimmicky. You're a young guy so i assume the dermatochalasis (droopy lower lids) is not age related. What is your ethnicity? Some darker-skinned races (i.e. indian), have a genetic predisposition towards dark circles beneath their eyes. Obviously, more sleep will help. Other remedies including preparation H (no substantiative evidence), antioxidants (c-6 peptide based, vitamin c, etc.). If age-related and due to herniation of the lower lid fat pad, blepharoplasty/eyelid surgery is treatment of choice. You're still in college so i'd hold off on the plastic surgery

PM me if you have any specific questions.

P.S. how's the snow?

Do you breath through you nose or mouth while you sleep? It can be a symptom of mouth breathing. Do you suffer from sleep apnea?
