excersises to get forearms bigger?
What excerises will make your forearms bigger? Since I really started working out, my upper arms appear to be getting bigger, but my forearms are staying the same size it seems.

tie a rope to a stick at one end and to the plate at the other, stand on a elavated area. Hold the stick in both hands at the ends and both palms facing down, now twist the stick so the rope wraps around it until the weight is all the at the top. Then you will hate me for suggesting this.

reverse and hammer curls to start.
Also, attach a weight to a rope and have the other end screwed into a wooden stick about the size of a broom handle. Roll the rope up on the stick one direction then reverse.
Another, hold your arms out straight, your palms facing the ground, and then crumple full sheets of newspaper.

Yeehaw
the rope and plate thing is great
I also take a barbell, hold it behind me with my palms facing back, and do forearm curls
you can also do forearm curls if you put your arm palm up on a bench with just your hand sticking over the end
and the grip machine

I concentrate on my forearms heavily. It not only makes working my job much easier, it also helps fight off carpal tunnel and tendinitus. My forearms are much bigger in proportion to the rest of my muscles. Its cool because if you think about it, your forearms are the mucsle that most people see when you wear short sleeve shirts or whatever, so in my case Im glad its my most dominant feature. I use a machine similar to this one and just do 3 sets of 10 at 150 LBS..

I always had small forarms and I never do specific exercises for them, however I always saw this as an advantage austhetically. Why? Think about it. Smaller forearms make the rest of your arm look even larger

With the barbell, add X weight..and place it behind you on a rack. Pick it up and curl it with your wrists.

Also, you can do reverse barbell curls, esentially a barbell curl with palms down opposed to up.

You can also lay your forearms across a flat bench, and leave your wrists hanging off of it, and place dumbbells in them, and curl towards your body.
Hammer curls are great to.

I myself do wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, then squeeze a raquet ball at least 100 times using the fingertips only for tendon strength. I also use a dumbell with 5lbs on one end so I can work the forearm from all angles. I haven't used the wristroller in a while but it sure works.
And big upper arms make your small forearms look even smaller ! .

here's an idea i found quite interesting... and you can do it without much effort...
while you're watching TV or doing any other activity that doesnt require using your hands/arms, just get a block of wood, put 5-6 screws in it... and just spend your time screwing in and out... this will help you get bigger/stronger forearms!

what someone said about the deadlifts. apparently, if your main compound lifts are of done @ high enough load and intensity, you won't need accessory forearm workout. Hell, you wouldn't even be able to do 'em cause your'e so tired out.
