Diet - Vegetables

Broccoli is a miracle food.

I eat probably 2-3 cups a day 5-6 days a week.

Reasons:

1. It's full of good nutrients
2. It's full of fiber
3. It's SUPER easy to make...

Thing is, I feel like I should take a break from it, but need a suitable replacement that is just as easy...

Normally I buy those bags of the florettes and microwave 2-3 cups for 1:10sec just to heat them up but not boil the hell out of them.

Any suggestions for a replacement that is as nutritious and also easy to make?

I don't know if this is as easy as cooking broccoli in the microwave, but I saute some yellow squash, zucchini, and onion in a little olive oil and butter.

Its as simple as cutting it up and throwing it into a saute pan...

Try a little fresh squeezed lemon on it, awesome.

I can't stand raw broccoli though like you sometimes see on snack trays. Even with dip there's something about the texture that I don't like.

Be careful if you do though and don't eat too much raw....

... sister told me about a guy that came into the er with severe abdominal pain. Turns out the guy decided to go on a "raw broccoli only" diet and consumed about three bunches in one sitting. He wound up going to surgery.
As she explained it.... "your stomach has a little hole at the top and one at the bottom, and that shit wasn't going through either one!"
