Crossfit
Anyone here do any crossfit? Buddy told me to check out Crossfit.com last week and did a couple of their WOD (Workout of the Day) and boy did I ever feel it.
Only did 2 of them last week but I think I'll start following it everyday.
The first workout I did was just Power Cleans and Dips and my traps were most sore I've had them for a couple days. Much more effective than days where I've done 12-15 sets of different shrugs.

Check here about some that did it. I'm doing it now but we stopped tracking on this site. I still track my WOD's at the Brand X which is for newbies. I recommend you do that.

Here's how I got some equipment to make a crossfit style workout. Only cost me like a couple of hundred bucks. No more gym for me.

And yes. This shit is addicting. From what me and friends have seen: you get in better shape, you lean out, you don't get bored, it's not a long workout, your vitals improve, and even when I stopped for Xmas did my metabolism stay quick. Under the lifting regimen I did before, I couldn't claim too much of what I just stated and I certainly had a hard time keeping it off.

Serves me right for not searching. Looked and saw nothing on the main page and it didn't show page 2,3,etc.
Ya I might have to start doing the BrandX scaled WOD's because my endurance isnt there yet. The WOD last week where you had to do sets with 50/35/20 pullups, after that first set of 50 pullups I was just dead, did them all legit.
Ya its somewhat hard doing these by yourself in a crowded gym, losing treadmill halfway through the workout etc. Don't have a GHD bench but I think today I figured out a good setup with the swiss ball and smith machine.

I was doing Brand X for like 4 months. I was up to mostly Pack level. I took off most of December and the first week of January. I'm stuck in Buttercup. Pace yourself as these no workouts are no joke.
I was very fortunate to go to a small gym for the first 3 mos of my CF workout. I would go right before closing so rarely I had trouble getting equipment. Since the gym was more focused on boxing, the weights section was always pretty empty.
