colon cleanse and detoxify... good or crap?

I just saw an Info-mercial about "Dual Action Cleanse" and it seems like a good product to cleanse the colon and detoxify the body. It seems that I "suffer" from many of the maladies that they mention, including unsatisfactory bowel movements. Also, from having had surgery I assume that it is possible that I still have residual trace quantities of the anesthetics that they used on me, as well as other bad things like caffein and nicotine in my system. Do these herbal detox and cleanse products work, or do I need to go in for a High Colonic repleate with hose in the butt?

Are these products any good or are they "crap" (pun intended)?

just go to your doctor and get a colonic if you're so worried.

I just started taking a supplement called Heavy Metal Detox from Nature's Sunshine (a reputable company). According to a doctor friend of mine, the ingredients are supposed to help cleanse the body of heavy metals. I'll keep you posted on the results. From what I'm told, people who tend to sweat easily may have a higher-than-normal level of heavy metals in their body. I'm one of those people, and have tended to be more sensitive to higher temperatures than I used to.

Colon Pure, or like Flora-Essence are good products.

You can do different body cleansings if you want....all fruit, all liquid, etc...

a good one to do is drink Odwalla SuperFood only for 3 days....along with a fiber supplement. No more than 3 days....

After that take a hot bath with sea salt and baking powder to detox the skin....you'll most likely see a dark silvery cloudy water....

Taking Ester-C and Ester-E would be good to fight off the free radicals also.
