Changing workout plan...
For the last 2 months I have used this plan:
5:30AM - 45min of cardio (Monday-Saturday)
6:15AM - 45min of moderate lifting every (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
3-4 times a week I walk 18 holes and twice a week I play racquetball. My goal was to lose about a pound a week and it has worked pretty well (220 to 210 in 8 weeks).
My goal is to be 180 by the end of August (essentially losing 40lbs in 5 months). Is this a healthy pace or could I up the cardio by 30min and get there a little faster?
Here's my meal plan if this helps at all
Breakfast - Cereal (total, cheerios, or wheaties), toast with low fat jelly, and fruit (basically 350 calories)
Snack - Cup of cereal (no milk) or Nature valley bar (200 calories)
Lunch - Turkey sandwich, fruit, water (300 calories)
Another snack
Dinner - Varies but is never over 800 calories
And I usually drink 7+ waters a day
Cliff notes version: I'm currently losing about 1,000 calories a day (everything included) and wondering if upping it to 1,300-1,400 calories a day would be healthy?
