Bull shit strength gains?

So I know this guy... who is claiming this absolute fish tale:

-Mid June, we left school for the summer. He's about 5'6-7 and was @ 130 pounds.
-He said he went home and started using his home set to start benching. He said he started off with repping 140 pounds.
-Apparently, towards the end of June, his back crapped out for a couple of weeks, so missed out on a good week or two.
-Now it's August 7th, and he's claiming that he is repping 225 bench for 2 sets @ 5-6 reps each, and he's now @ 145 pounds.
-So that means, he has worked out maybe 3-4 weeks (4 weeks top, I don't think even that much) apparently @ 4 hour work outs everyday.
*all this while claiming to go out and party (drink/smoke) 2-3 times a week. AND no supplements. Although he did start protein a couple of weeks ago....*


-This can't possibly be possible, right? I'm callin' bull shit on this guy, but I just need to hear other people confirm what I'm saying.

-I just know when school rolls around again and I ask him to lift w/ me he'll crap out @ 135 and say he hasn't worked out for awhile.

Probably a little exaggeration but who cares what anyone else lifts? Just ignore him and focus on whether you can out bench him. That's all you gotta do.
