Is this bad?
Today I did went to the gym did these exercises:
and now I have these red dots/marks on my shoulders. This has happened before and they eventually go away, but am I bursting blood vessels or something?

Ease off a bit.
Does it look like a red ink dot from the tip of a pen?

I used to do standing calf raises like the dude in the first pictures, and I would get those same marks so I just stopped doing them. I don't think they'll do any permanent damage but I figured there's other ways to blast my calves...never got them from squatting tho...

boney shoulders? it'll happen, i'm not sure if it will just happen for a while or always occur. IF it doesn't stop after 3-4 weeks, i would try some more padding. I always used the padding that was similar to what used to come on bmx bikes, i would try that if you haven't.
PLacing the bar directly on your shoulders w/o padding (with skinny) people can hurt.

It should be fine. I get them on my thighs, when i do the calf raises sitting down.
It will go away, don't trip! Keep it up tho man. Get jacked!!
I just learned this from 2 years of working out.
Do your full range of motion, but at the same time, keep your muscles working. Don't let them rest(or try not to while you are working on a set).

Yea no worries you're just getting minor hemorrhaging into the skin from the friction/pressure of the bar. I get them on the chest when I bench and hit the bar against my chest.

yeah no big deal. its just a lil scratch that will go away. If it really bothers you, use more padding, add a towel, or a tshirt to the bar or something
