Any suggestions for cold weather running wear?

Now that it is getting cold outside I need some new running apparel. I already have sweaters and such that I use for a top and some old soccer gloves I can use, but I would rather have some lighter ones such as mittens or something. But what I mailnly need is a pair of running pants (not tights). Anyone know of local sports stores that have a good selection or what exact pant works well? I was browsing Dick's sporting goods online and found quite a few but they are expensive and didn't expect to pay that much.

well right now it gets into the high 40s and high 50s at night (unfortunately by the time i get home from work its already dark) and if there's wind it will obviously be colder. but right now average about 50 degrees but in a month or two im talking about possibly in the 30s

I usually just wear a fleece with a half zipper so when I get hot I get some cool air. I don't use gloves. For legs, either warm up pants or shorts. I just run enough to get warm.

well. i think i have bad circulation in my hands cus my fingers get cold really quickly. so i would like mittens (lol sounds girly) and then some kind of running pants but i hate the windbreaker type pants because they make too much noise

I had a pair of hind pants that I liked. They were tighter than wind breaker pants but still lose enough to wear and not feel weird. I think hind made them. They were sort of expensive though - 60 bucks.

i have a headband, running gloves that are wind resistant, and sweastshirts. I also have a wind resistant jacket since the winds here are bitter at times

on really cold days i like to wear: under armor, spandex, shorts, tshirt, gloves, sweats, sweatshirt

i like to warm up around the block in all of that and then take off the layers as i get warmer.

on semi cold days, you can do with a pair of sweats, shorts, tshirt, sweatshirt.
