Will this wheel tire combo fit?

First, I'm new here so thanks in advance for being cool.

Looking at a good deal on some barely used rims n tires but not sure they will fit.

Only had this car for a few months, and, to be clear, not super interested in performance just want to look good.

20 x 8.5 in front and 20x10 in the back.

You will have to give us more information than that. What is the offset of the wheels? What are the size of the tires? Welcome to the forms.

Damn man 225 has to seriously stretched to make 10 inch , heck even 8.5 rim has been near its max, looking at 225 35 20 it is 7.5-9 so you can go over usually another 0.5 safely.
Heck I am using 255 40 R19 on the stock advanced rims, it remarkably smoothed the ride, even though 8.5-10" is specs.

Thanks Anrica.
I really have no idea what I'm doing here, so appreciate the feedback. I've never had a car that I actually enjoy/care about until now, so I'm trying to get up to speed on what is what.

Found these on offer up and while I am excited about the price, I don't know enough to understand if this is a good decision for me.

I should also note that I didn't ask him all the specs, but confirmed the wheel make/model and looked them up and used the chart...

They should fit the question is will the backs rub when you go over bumps and whatnot. I have all 4 rims 20x9.5's +35 with 255/35/20 tires and my car is lowered and they fit like a glove (but they do rub a bit in the back). So the fronts should be fine. The 10 inch backs are pretty fat but the 225 tires are pretty small. Did you clarify if all 4 tires are the same size? Ask him specifically what size are the tires on the 10 inch wide rims. I suggest you be patient and wait for someone who really knows to weigh in.

Thanks Carbon.

Too wide like they won't fit, or too wide like they will stick out a bit? Sorry to the new guy, but I am...

The wheel specs will work. The rear tires wont work because they are too wide and will rub on the quarters. You can run a smaller tire and make them work but personally, I would hold off and find some better quality wheels. Patience is key when shopping for wheels.

Indeed.
Found a set of nice 5 spoke 19"s today.
Front: 19x8.5 on 245/30/19
Rear: 19x9.5 on 275/30/19

Now those, I like. I think you'll be happier with them as long as the rear tires fit.

One way you can judge is by doing some research and seeing what other people have fit with similar setups or if you are lucky, the same setup. Ive found this forum pretty useful for that. Of course if you have already bought them then bolt them on and find out!

What are the offsets for those 19" wheels? You are already starting off with 0.5" less width and a full 1" less diameter with those wheels, so you will probably be good to go as long as they don't have a crazy low offset, and you aren't lowering the car. But what do I know? Lol

Here we go...

Ok, so, after much searching, digging, and questions asked and answered, I pulled the trigger.
One small hiccup, need different lug nuts and couldn't get them on a sunday.

That said, I'm still stoked. Took em to a tire shop and confirmed the fot, thumbs up.

Offset is +40

Here's a preview... Stock(plus the ceramic tint I had put on)
Da shoes...
Lil preview... :-)
