The Maxima is never a direct competitor with the TL. What not changing the subject line to : "Will the '09 TL's brakes equal or exceed the new G37 sedan, 335i, C350 ?"

I saw the topic and didn't even have to look at the name to know who the poster was......
I'm sure the TL will outstop the Maxima, IS350, G35/37, and 95% of all cars just like it always has in a single stop like most normal people do on normal streets.
On a roadcourse after a few laps, the bigger brakes on the other cars might start shining once the TL starts to fade but on the street, the TL is king.
Seriously, with the amount of time you spend bitching about the brakes, you could've installed a set of 20" 10 piston brakes by now.

He fails to understand that the TL is an excellent stopper even outside of it's class. The brakes may fade earlier during a roadcourse and I've experienced it, but for normal street driving and an emergency stop, they're much better than most.

Hmm, I didn't know about his obsession. Maybe he's part of some underground 60 - 0 club or something weird like that?
Don't forget about parachutes.

The new maxima is pretty impressive. If I recall right at the car show it did have a real panaroma roof. I really wish the TL would do this. I also think the sport package with the new maxima comes with 19's standard.
