What's the official dealer delivery date?

AWD models are expected in November-December. The first order is already placed for these cars so if you were to order one now, it would be for December production.

AWW, that sucks. I was hoping like "RIGHT NOW." Heh..
My old man has the 3rd gen TL auto (as do I, type-s, 6MT) and his lease just ended. He's looking at either the new TL AWD or the G37 AWD.
I guess he'll have to wait if he wants it that bad.
Riddle me this, the G35/37 sedan, AWD, has a 0-100% to 50-50% front-rear drive distribution. From what I understand, sh-awd is not set up this way, as it has something like 70-30% front-rear, and then moves it 30-70% if needed (plus, left-right in the rear).
Am I close on this one?

You are correct on the AWD. SH is the most advanced out there right now and the ability to send 100% of the rear torque to the outside wheel yields significant benefits in dry weather handling. The system also accelerates the outside wheel 1.7%.

I just got a call from the sales manager at Lindsay Acura in Columbus Ohio today and they just got in 9 2009 TL's today. Assuming the 2009 TL's are being made in Marysville, Ohio, Linday Acura is about a 45 mile drive from there.
