What's the difference between Advance Package and Technology Package?

What's the difference between Advance Package and Technology Package?
Ok, so I am on the acura web site and it shows what both packages offer. I also noticed the advance package is more but seems like the Technology package offers by far more. My question is, The Tech package mentions things like "Back up camera, Navigation, real time traffic, Voice command, HDD, Push button start, etc" and for the Advance package it only says "18 inch rims, blind spot alert, ventilated seats"
Now, am I missing something here?? How is it that the lesser tech package offers way more than the more expensive Advance? I just cant see an acura with advance package NOT having a Navi or back up camera, etc. OR is it the the Advance DOES have everything the Tech has but offers the cooled seats, 18 inch rims, blind spot alert, etc??? That would be my guess, these packages are a little new to me since I drive 3g TL Type S, and an Infiniti M. This is a different kind of lingo for me. I'm still deciding between this car and another, I need a little help though since the Tl I built on the site came up to about 46K I would like to know what I am really getting since I selected the Tech Package.
Help me out guys!! Thanks

It's a $2200 bump - I think the majority of that goes towards the 19" wheels and higher performance tires.
The ventilated cooled seats are nice if you like to drive with the windows down on hot days

Advance=A cool butt and an annoying BSIS beep.

Burning Brakes
^^ true. A friend has this on his A6 and the thing just beeped all the time. I wonder if you can mute it an just let the light warn you. Also here in NY the outer boros have many
Narow streets and the constant warnings would drive anyone mad.

It would be cool if it had the automatic parallel parking feature. Even the Ford Focus has it.

The TL can be equipped with a blind spot information system that assists you when making lane changes.
If the system detects a vehicle in an adjacent lane in the TL’s “alert zone” (approximately from the rear half of the TL to half a car-length back), an indicator will appear on that side’s windshield pillar.
The pillar light will flash if the driver activates the turn signal in the direction where a vehicle has been detected.
In order to avoid disturbing the driver or passengers, no sounds are emitted by the system.
The indicators only light up when the TL is traveling above 6 mph, so they won’t come on when parking, at stop lights, or in stop-and-go traffic.

This is from Acura's website. The TL's BSI does not beep.

I parallel park my Chevy Avalanche without parking sensors or a backup camera no problem - auto park on a car is just a waste of time.
I can get my truck in a spot before you even finish setting up the computer to park the car.

If you can't parallel park a Ford Focus, you should not have a drivers license

Personally, we need less BS stuff that doesn't add to the experience of driving... All that will do is increase the weight and cost of the car. Between the tilting down side mirrors and backup camera, if you can't park your car, please insert your license into the nearest shredder.

There's a button to the left of the steering wheel next to the VSA button to turn off the blind spot assist also.
Thats a gimmick so people will say that exact thing when comparing a car to the Focus.

If you all think the stock Michelins are trash, wait'll you get a load of the RSA's. Worst tire ever...the only reason they aren't using the Michelins for the 19" option is bc that tire size does not exist in that specific all season model.
The Michelin is at least a 'decent tire'.

Don't like how Acura brings 'Advance' trim to the TL but leaves out the CMBS or smart Cruise Control. These features are on the Advance trims for the RL, ZDX, and MDX. Be consistent.
To add the BS blind spot feature is a poor replacement over the CMBS feature. Is the TL hard to see out of?
I think CMBS should be on more cars, it's more useful than blindspot. Mercedes is promoting their CMBS version in their ads, it's a great safety feature that more or more cars will have in the future IMO.
even Buick has it, come on Acura, 'Advance' for real.

FWIW, BSI is only active over 6 mph. If there is something in your blindspot, it illuminates a light by the side mirrors. If you use put on your turn signal, the light will start to flash. The system can be turned off, the system does not give any auditory alert.

On the TLX, the added features in the Advance package are a much better value than they ever were in the 4G TL. Adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system and lane keep assist alone are all far more advanced, useful and costly options than the added features in the 4G Advance model.

Advance has the ventilated seats ( which I use even in the winter) long drives freaking awesome. BSIS - there is no beeping on my 2013 just flashing. 19inch rim -really the best design off all them - however they ride is bit harsher.
I sold my Eagles on TL as soon as I left the dealer. Sold them to discount tire for 600 dollars. They had like 33miles on them.

Probably not.
Larry Hughes go for the tech package at least. Anything else is outdated. No you'll be missing out on navi, back up camera and more!
