Love the color choice. Graphite Luster Metallic would've been my choice if it was available with the 6MT in 2010

Bonecheck that fool!
After considering BMW or Audi, I just picked up my black on black 2010 in Portland last week and had a GREAT drive back down to San Jose. Tinted yesterday with 50% in the front (damn CA laws) and 20% in the back. If the weather improves, will debadge tomorrow.
Ill post picks when I can. Oh being a newb.
Next steps will be to tint the taillights, get that RonJon grill, then send JnC my headlights.

Hi everyone!
I drove home my 2012 Graphite Luster 6MT TL today. I can't stop smiling. I feel like Acura built this car just for me! Is it weird that my favorite feature is the bright red start button? This car oddly reminds me of my S2000 in more than one way...
What a difference from the 2005 TL 6MT I just traded...

Congrats on the new purchase. Sweet color. And welcome to the 6MT club. You'll just have to learn to live with that silly grin on your face when you drive your car. Post up some pix when you can.

I had to take it back today to get the windows tinted, and I think I love it even more now. I'll take some good pictures tomorrow (assuming it's sunny).
I can't wait to have ~600 miles on it so I can really let it rip.

I had to leave my car (2010 6spd TL AWD) with the dealership for the weekend (boring story) and the loaner car is an automatic 2011 TL FWD.
I forgot how much I hate the feeling of an auto trans car downshifting when you press down on the gas to pass or whatever...
and I keep stomping my left foot down on the floor everytime I start the car or brake. I need my car back!!!

^^ I know what you're saying. I had a slushbox rental car on vacation and just about put the family through the windshield when I distractedly pushed the "clutch" to the floor with my left foot.

2010 PM with midnight front and rear grille. Front, side and rear underbody spoiler. 11K miles of pleasure so far. Thinking of tinting, but then nobody would see me having the fun moving through traffic!!!

Only if you update the poll and add BWP and Silver Moon.
Oh and Graphite Luster Metallic!

I wish they offered Graphic Luster in 6MT form in 2010...

I had a 2010 PMM 6 speed and traded it after 100K for a 2014 Graphite Luster 6speed in November. You can't beat the power, AWD, tech content, and refinement for the price. The 335 and S4 beat the power/acceleration and equal the tech for +$20K in cost. Otherwise, there are no other options in the marketplace. I like to be involved in driving and without AWD / Manual options this may be the last one I get to buy.

I agree. This is the only "big" luxury sedan with the combination of AWD and 6MT you will find in the market right now. Mods please add the newer colors please.

I recently sold my 2007 Subaru STI and luckily found a 2012 CBP 6spd Tech. I too was looking for power, AWD, something I could fit the family in, and a manual transmission. Oh, it had to be Japanese also. ;-) At the time I was looking there were 6 used cars available in the entire province of Ontario....mostly all CBP. I had to travel 3 hours to find an Acura CPO car. I feel pretty lucky that I acted when I did as there are even fewer available now. Here's hoping that Honda keeps offering a manual option in the future!

Perhaps in terms of pure 0-60, etc., but the TL will more than hold its own against these cars on a road course. And I have found the sound systems and tech in these cars to be unimpressive, at least the 2010s I looked at when shopping for my car.

I agree with the tech, but the power of the S4 was a hoot. I checked on autotrader today and only saw 12 manual TL's older than 2010 for sale in the US... All of the sudden, we own a collector's car.

It's almost 2 years since I owe my Mayan Bronze / Umber 6MT but I still love my TL. Usually close to 2 years of ownership, I start looking around for a new car. AWD is amazing for every day enjoyment/satisfaction! Once a month i get a chance to drive my friend's 2011 Audi S4, acceleration + handling is amazing but reliability...
IMHO umber interior is the best on TLs.

^^ Very nice. I was torn between the MBM/Umber and CBP when I bought mine. Still love the Mayan Bronze/Umber combo.

I bought my 2010 CBP 6SPD CPO November of last year (2013). I love it except for two issues: it clunks when I change gears and I have some slight pinging under acceleration when it's warm outside. Dealer says those concerns are normal but I'm still researching for fixes. Anyone else have these issues too?

^ Congrats. Very nice looking car in great condition. With the demise of other 6MT sports sedans, the TL's about the only show in town now, particularly coupling the V6 and AWD. Enjoy the car.

Thank you.
Was looking for a 2012-2014 6MT TL SH-AWD under $12K and could only find SIX in the country! My son-in-law & I did a 1,300 mile/22 hour banzai drive back in late June to get it. Apparently, people in IL don't drive manuals anymore, because the dealer was having trouble selling it. Had 200K on the odo, but was garage kept and the interior is immaculate. Got it for $8K out the door. Most everything I've done so far has been maintenance stuff (fluids, rotors, pads, etc.) and a few cosmetic things (polished headlight lens, window tint, blacked out the chrome, etc.). So far, it's been the most fun car I've driven since I drove my son-in law's S2000.
