Two Questions On Changing Transfer Case Fluid 10' SH-AWD
1. The fluid I drained out seemed thicker than the fluid I added, is this the right gear oil?

I changed the transfer case fluid with the car up on a jack stand
Question #2 Is this ok or do I need to get the whole car off the ground and level?

It is a fairly solid point, seemed to be part of the frame (basically where the lower control arm was connected to) the jack was still place adding some redundancy. You seem to be an expert on here Potmilkz, all look good on the gear oil and filling while it was jacked up?

looks good to me.. but personally i have not done it on a 4g yet so i dont have first hand experience, but looks like its right..
