Trottle body. GMD8A vs. GMD8C
Greetings. Help me please.
Tell me what the difference is between the throttle body from Acura TL IV generation in 2009-11 and 2012-14?
2009-11 - Part Number: 16400-RKG-A01 - GMD8A
2012-14 - Part Number: 16400-RK2-A01 - GMD8C
The difference in price is 3 times!!!What throttle body has the largest size (Inlet ID and Outlet ID)?
Thanks in advance.

I believe the difference in part numbers is because its a new part number from that supplier (GMD8C in this case). All 2009-2014 SH-AWD TL's have the same engine specs, so this is most likely the case. The 2004 TL TB was a different part number than the 2005-2008 TL TB's but they were identical. The TB gasket, map sensor and all hardware have the same part numbers from 09-14.

Inlet ID: 80mm
Outlet ID: 70mm
If the throttle body from the Acura TL 2012-14 is the same size, it can be used for upgrade the intake on other models of Acura / Honda
...at a price of approximately $150
