Trip meter resets itself
So I have been having this issue with my car since day one. I have set my trip meter to reset to zero when I fill the tank. I like to see how many kms I get out of a tank. The problem is, the trip meter automatically resets to zero once the tank is 3/4, so I never get to see how many kms I would get in a tank using trip meter A, trip meter B however works fine and that's what I use for my calculations.
Anyone with the same issue?

That is by design - I believe you can change that setting in the menu options (when the car in in park).
Alternatively - you can check your km/gallon before you fill up.

I took the car to the dealership and explained and they never said it was by design. They kept the car for the entire day and later said they couldn't figure it out and will talk to Honda about the issue and I haven't heard back from them in 6 months. That's how efficient, Acura 2000 in Brampton is.

Go to your setting and disable that feature. I think yours is set to reset the trip A when you fill up the gas.

This happened to me too once. Under personal setting menu, I set to reset Trip A every time I refuel the gas. However, the trip A reset itself even though I did not fill the gas. So I just disabled that feature and I just mannually reset it once I fill the gas.

I have different issues with my car, but feel the same dude... Give em hell! Why should I have to listen to a spooling whine from 15-50mph ( which is 90% of my driving) when other tl's don't make that noise. Just cause they can't pinpoint it don't mean squat.. Fix my 40k NEW car.

It has happened to me 4 times now. Three times, including this morning, it happened at a gas station where I fill up about 80% of the time, but I had just gone into the store for something and didn't gas up. The other time it happened was when I went into the store of a gas station that I had filled up at several times the weeks prior to that.
I know this is an odd question, but it isn't tied to the GPS location somehow, is it?
It has never reset while driving, but always after shutting the car off and restarting at a gas station where I have filled up several times previously.
Weird.

Can't be that because it happened to me while driving.
So, it just happened to me again this morning. As I said above, it doesn't happen at consistent gas levels, but what I have noticed may be a coincidence, but it is a little odd if it is.

Sorry for the thread revival, but I am having the same problem. Trip A is set to reset when I fuel, and it does, but then it resets itself again before I even fuel the next time. Most of the time I'm just fueling up half tank. Anyone found a fix for this yet? Is there even a fix at all ?

I have trip A set to reset when refueling. It will do that whether or not I actually fill the tank. AFAIK this is normal. Refueling != filling up. Note that it doesn't actually reset until the car moves after fueling.
