Transmission fluid change question
 

I'm getting to 40k miles on my 2012 TL and plan on doing my first transmission fluid 3x3 change as suggested here.

Can I use 08200-9008 ATF-DW1? I've seen a bunch of different fluids mentioned here and want some confirmation before I muck things up accidentally.

Yes, as long as it's the DW1 ATF you're fine, honda or acura it's all the same aside from costing a few bucks more for the glorious "Acura" logo.

ATF DW-1 is ATF DW-1. Just don't use ATF Z-1

:werd: I don't know that Honda even makes the Z-1 anymore, but there's definitely some still floating around out there. The DW-1 is superior to the Z-1. In fact, some have said that the Z-1 has been responsible for some transmission failures.
