Looks fun! What tires are on you on? Stock all seasons or a summer tire?
How did the brakes hold up after repeat sessions? Interested in doing the same but I am a little worried about brake fade with the tiny stock brakes.
And I think you meant to you needed to decrease the front tire pressure to reduce understeer - lower pressure results in a greater tire contact patch with the pavement and more grip.

The tire was Michelin Pilot Super Sport on OEM 18" rim. I put it on last summer.
I have not had any issue with the stock brake cause I was not driving it like a race car. Off the gas early and easy on the brake. Just wanted to have some fun and still had the smile on my face at the end of day. It took me a morning before I felt comfortable to dive into turn #2 & #4. It was a great experience. I know now that the car in its stock form is a quite capable car.
Since the car is nose heavy, in my case, a little bit of higher pressure in the front would reduce the tire rolling. I believe it would improve the traction. If I have a chance to go back in the future, then I could verify it.
Definitely, more chamber would help. But, I plan to keep it in stock form. =)

If you want to maximize rotation, I'd think about 36 cold front and rear. When you bring the nose down to make a corner, it'll bite harder and swing faster. It's tempting to use 38 or even more, but in my humble and admittedly amateurish experience, Pilot Sports start to melt and blue around 45 psi.
:-)
I'm hardly any god's gift to driving, but I know a TL 6-6 SH-AWD will surprise the hell out of people coming out of Oak Tree at VIR. For a big heavy commuting sedan, it's awesome. Provided you're not afraid to let the nose bite, the vectoring will point you and shoot you out of the corner in a very surprising way.
I do not think I'll be at the track very much with my RLX.

Thanks to AlexG_6MT and George Knighton for your inputs. I value them. If I ever have a chance to go to the track again, I will try your suggestions. But, I think this is it.
I don't recall exactly.... But I think it was around 38F/35R cold (in the paddock area).

I don't really know what they did to change it...I think it was mostly a Hondata computer experiment.
They didn't get very far with it. It's a big, huge car for throwing around on the typical 2.5 - 3.5 mile road course.
But, still, more than one person was watching them carefully and you could tell they were wondering if they could do that. :-)

The tire held up quite well. There was sign of overheating on the shoulder and slightly extended to the sidewall but no blue band. :-) The tire has stiffer sidewall, it handles the weight of TL quite well.
