Sunvisor

My drivers sun visor is very tight, almost impossible to rotate.

Other side of the visor mount is unsnapping when you try to rotate the visor.

How can I fix it?

Thanks,

What do you mean by its unsnapping? Is the mount that goes into the ceiling snapping? Does the entire visor fall off? Can you post a pic?

It so tight on the left side so when I want to rotate it, it snaps off the right side.

I would pull it out and check it out, perhaps lube it as needed
Bottom of Page 1792 and 1793 of the Acura Repair Manual
see thread https://acurazine.com/forums/fourth-...manual-956811/
for the manual
1. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver through the hole in the front side of the bracket cover (A), and push the hook
(B). Make sure the hook is unlocked.
2. While pushing in the hook (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver, release the sunvisor (B) from the holder (C),
and rotate the sunvisor backward about 45°. Make sure the hook slides into the bracket cover as you
3. Pull down the sunvisor (A) to release the pin (B) and the bracket (C) from the holes in the body. Then
pull out the vanity mirror light connector (D), and disconnect it.

Manual had pictures that better describe it.

A little late but... thanks for adding the pic! I see what you’re saying about it falling out. It’s likely that someone has removed it before, either taking the headliner out or the console in the middle of the roof there, and broke or bent the plastic at the base of it so it no longer “snaps” into the body of the car. If the windshield was ever replaced, it could’ve broke then. Not the point... if you push it up into the roof firmly and it doesn’t pop/snap, then just order a new one off eBay. A cheap knockoff one should do the trick... it’s just a standard plastic push in, just like the push pins (sometimes called “Christmas trees”) used to hold in other plastic interior parts like the door panels... it’d be hard for China to screw them up! LOL

Update: just did a quick search on eBay... probably not gonna find one there, but I used the search terms “clip”, “mount”, “retainer”. You’d probably have better luck finding one elsewhere on the innerweb.
