Sport Grille Accessory and Rear Trim Officially Available?

They are listed back up on Acura.com. Any word on the release? Can't wait to see how they will actually look on the car.

I checked bernardiparts.com and I was able to locate them in their database. Gave the part number and price and everything, calls it Grille (Dark Chrome).
GRILLE, FR. Color code: NH763X: DARK CHROME Part Number: 08F21-TK4-200 Price: 234.24
TRIM, RR. Color code: NH763X: DARK CHROME Part Number: 08F52-TK4-200 Price 65.44

Hmm, wonder how this will look on CBP, the rear trim is a must do, especially for that price.

I think it'd probably look pretty good on your car, but far less good looking on my Palladium.

I think that rear piece is going to look a lot like what Ieh did with his rear trim piece, not color matched, but dark enough to not stand out...

I don't like the idea of painting the front and back, but it's too bright now, and this might be a cheaper fix than the RJ grill and about the same as painting it....

I think it would look good. But if you go with that grille, it kind of forces you to have to buy the back trim pc as well. Where as if you paint the grille body color, you can get away with not messing with the back trim.

If Acura do have the sport grille and rear trim, to me, is only a color different....I think they should put them to standard with the car instead of paying extra to buy them.....

+1 ya me too. But not sure if it would look as good as we think. All the other badges & trim on the car would still be chrome?

I don't want to let my original idea cat-out-of-the-bag, but I plan on getting the sports grille for the rear and then getting the ron jon grill up front and painting the middle "bar" piece the same dark chrome color to match.

It's gonna be pure secks on white diamond pearl

Is it a coincidence this Ron Jon bar looks painted in dark chrome?

I must say the Ron Jon grille looks so much better than the snow plow that comes standard

The pics on the website are terrible!

If they want to sell these things, they need to show them with the different body colors.

What the heck is midnight chrome?

Anyway, I think it might look really good on the Polished Metal Metallic? A little more subtle contrast than the stock pieces.

I guess we'll wait and see?

If I can get the dealership to install these on my replacement TL, I'll be the first to post pics--promise. These are hot.

Is it just me or was anybody else expecting midnight chrome to be more of a subdued dark silver? I'm shocked that this grille is highly reflective and seems to draw more attention to itself?

^ I'm with you, I guess midnight chrome is part of the marketing, like they had the black chrome A-spec accessory wheels for the 3G. Their computer generated photos do a poor job of making this thing look like reflective chrome. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing what this looks like.

I had it installed on my 4G TL. The color is the same as the rest of the chrome on the trim. Matches beautifully- I love it.

Look dude, you just can't come in here and put out a statement like that and not support it with pictures...

Did you seriously just read everyone's posts about wanting to see actual pictures of it on the car and decide that you could only "tell" us about you having this one week old item installed on your car and not show us?!

Except with two posts, he can't post photos, unless I miss my guess.

Sorry folks. I have been a long time lurker in these forums (even the 3g ones), but never posted before. I need to wash the car (winter in Chicago) and take some pics. I will send them to whomever as soon as I get them taken- today or tomorrow.

I have my grille painted to match my car, but the sport grille would match my oem chrome look wheels perfect. I am not sure which way to go now. I need to see the new grille on a tl first. Wish this was out before I painted and clearbra.

Don't worry about washing the car. Nobody else worries about it.

I was at the dealer today to have my car service and stopped by the parts department they did not have much info on the sports grill but said they would get back to me. The pictures shown in the brochure are more like the grey plastic looking version which to me would not be worth the swap. I would definitely get the shinny one listed on the eBay site, but until I officially see it from Acura I would not trust it.

On a side note the dealer had 1 ZDX in the lot as a tester but it was 19 degrees for a high today in Boston so didn't get to examine it much, no showroom model, I do not understand why Acura chooses the ugliest color combination's as a demos, Grigio with the Taupe interior, umber is the sexy interior color to attract buyers IMHO, one customer I overheard commenting about the lack of backseat room unless they market the vehicle correctly it will be a flop. I will say though if the next RL gets in Acura's design studio it will be a killer sedan, the ZDX brochure gives a full run down on the attention to detail that was put into the vehicle. Sorry if I went off topic.

See someone owes him an apology:. That looks hot! Congratulations, I am puzzled though because this grill is the complete opposite of Acura's PR comments last week. I wonder if they are still working on the rumored grill kit, I may have to make the swap if I can convince my fiance, I think it will look great with PMM.

Wow, that's quite a bit different than I had pictured it, based on the tiny pics they had on Acura's e-store. It looks very bright, not sure why they called it midnight chrome.

I'm gonna have to think about this a bit more, looks a bit too chrome for my tastes. Maybe in person it's not so bright.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
