Is there a way to turn off the seat belt chime?

I'm a "damn the man" kinda guy as anyone else, but dude, wear your seat belt.

If it's for some sort of medical reason like a cast that gets in the way or you're a woman with really big boobs, you could just click it in then sit against the seat with the belt in the back. Or maybe the lap belt in front and the shoulder behind you. But still, not a real good idea.

even at parking lot speeds, an impact will be forceful enough!!
geez, how far are you driving without the seatbelt that it annoys you!? lol

The only time I hear it is when I don't pull close enough to the work garage RFID entry.
then, I'll have to unbuckle, open door, swipe card, close door and pull into spot. But it's not enough distance to annoy me. OP must be traveling for more than 5 minutes without his seat belt on!

it may be the passengers that won't wear it, which can be annoying.

that shit is super weird too me! we're riding around in tanks at 3400lbs.
it's like second nature to me to throw on the safety belt, regardless of driver /passenger.
I admit, if i'm in the rear seats, I wont use them. but i'll start now!

"Thank God I wasn't too cool for the safe belt"

If passengers refuse to wear a seat belt in my car, they don't ride. Simple.

I dunno...there is an argument that the seat belt keeps you in place, preventing you from ducking. That's when the Takata airbag gets you.

in the last 30 years....NOT 3 years...30 years, the data says seat belts save lives.
who the fuck is stupid enough to go without is BEYOND me.

havent ridden in a back seat in over 7 years...but I'll start wearing the seat belt back there NOW.
fuck that! you are absolutely STUPID to go without the seatbelt in 2017

kinda like cigarettes. YOU are absolutely FUCKING STUPID if you still smoke in 2017
