Wow looks good. Can't wait to see the finished product on a car. Looks like I'll need a grill because that would compliment the lipkit.

I swear, I am having such a blast designing this kit, I am so grateful you guys like it enough for it to be worth the investment. Makes designing so much more rewarding, I will do my best to make sure the quality and design is the best it can be with all the options possible.

We are making one when the kit is done, not just a straight piece with no grooves, we will mimic the trunk and hood design into the flat part so it is a little more dynamic.

Yes, we will be making the splitter below the same exact proportions as the grille bar, so imagine a frame style lower splitter with a straight bar grille, it would be so clean and flow so well. Here are some pics:

Actually has PLENTY of ground clearance all around, and even more ground clearance in the middle of the front where it counts the most. If the splitter in front gets damaged, that is a separate piece that can be replaced or left out.

We raised the front by .25" and added a slight slope, but besides that, it has more than enough clearance. The middle of the front is the area that is most prone to scraping, but thats notched out and as you can see the splitter can be added or left out. Should have no problems with scraping.

frame spitter looks best in my opinion. Very interested in the wing, if it were angled to match the slight v shape of the trunk (front to rear, not top to bottom) then it would look nice

The tire to wheel-well gap looks fairly close and looks good... too low for me and the are I drive.. I scrape the A-spec front way too much as it is.

The car is lowered in the pics on H&R springs as far as I know, but like I said, the kit brings the front down about 1" and 1.25" all around. The middle of the front is fine tho, no scraping the way we notched out the middle of the front.

About 2-3 more weeeks till the kit is done.
2/3rds of the first 15 kits are already preordered, so if you are interested, please act fast.

dont you think the front is already too aggressive and to add that lower splitter to only just the front will not compensate for the rest of the car..

to me the front lip is way too aggressive unless you balance it out with the sides and rear.

its fine without the splitter, but when added, then the side and rear will have to be adjusted as well

idk, the sides and rear with the fins seem more aggressive to me than the front, which fills the void that the OEM kit leaves. And the splitter is an option, it can be left out if you feel it is too much. It's a win / win situation rather than have it be a permanent part of the front. If we did something with the sides and rear regarding the splitter, it would raise the cost too high for something that we aren't even sure will be in demand.

I see it as a clean kit that is not too aggressive yet can be made more aggressive with the optional front splitter and some paint color combinations. Also, the RonJon Straight bar grille with the frame style splitter would be clean and real aggressive. The "A" bar RonJon grille with no splitter would be least aggressive.

Holy shit thats cheap, anybody get that and report back on the quality? Now I doubt we will even make one with the price that low. Hard to compete with our parts made in the US and not overseas...

Plus with the splitter colormatched to the silver around the fogs, it will tie the whole kit into the oem design better. At least, that's my plan when I order the kit this june.

Who ever gets the kit with the splitter, should get the grille too. The way we are designing that splitter will match identically with the bar we feature on the grille, then like you said the fog light surround will tie it all together.

yea its cheap. mine is en route. i am sure it wont be the greatest thing in the world, but $44 plus shipping and etc.... cost me i think $77 total

it looks small/flimsy

i hope you make something thicker, and more aggressive... similar to the Sarona wing on the 3G. i will DEFINITELY pay more for quality.

lol, me too, I'm considering getting a 2010 TL sx speed and putting all the parts on myself! I'm super excited.

On a side note, the Cl was criticized for a long time about the longish front nose of the Rj kit. I would hate for this kit to suffer the same criticism. Do you guys think I should reduce the angle now of the front overhang, or keep it the way it is. I already made the gap between the two "fangs" where the splitter fits in a little bigger by 2"...

I think you got the angle right. It looks very agressive and yet flows right into the agle of the front end. I think it looks so good that I would consider getting a '12 TL and then getting a '11 bumper to add your grille and body kit to it.

Too many body kits look gaudy and add too much. IMO, the body kit should enhance the look of the car as an upgrade. Your kit enhances!!

IMO, you have a winner here. It makes my pants tight
