Rear bumper damage
Okay so long story short my rear bumper is jacked up. I am fairly certain someone hit my car in the garage. WTF.... There is a rip in the bumper so i assume that i will need a new one. Any idea how much a new bumber with paint and install will cost me? 2009 TL SH-AWD

It will be right at 1K if you go thru the insurance. Probably a little more since they will need to blend in the paint with the rear quarter panels. I suggest go thru the insurance since it's not your fault assuming you have a 500 deductible. It's worth it.

get estimates first, call a dealer and ask the cost on a new bumper (they're not that hard to install) when you talk to parts, don't be afraid to ask for a discount!!!

Well... If you don't have friends who does body work to get a good deal, I would suggest to go with your insurance. This is not your fault and your premium shouldn't go up...
As other AZners suggested, shop around for a price range at least. It's just a bumper/plastic, don't worry too much
Good luck

Had someone hit the bumper on the 4G while in the parking lot of a local restaurant chain. Got it fixed. Shortly there after it was hit again IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT! Never bothered to get it fixed.
Wife came in the house a week ago and told me that someone had HIT IT AGAIN IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT! Unbelievable.
That makes three hits in the same rear bumper, in the same spot on the bumper. One would suspect that the same driver or garage is at fault, however it was parked in three different spots when it happened.
The moral of the story is, you can fix it, but chances are some fuck-head is going to hit it again.
