Really nice 4G TL manual ! For anyone interested.

Hey guys. I saw this come up on my alert for Auto trader.
Cars for Sale: 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD w/ Technology Package in Montgomeryville, PA 18936: Sedan Details - 395176988 - AutoTrader.com

Black on black Certified--24k miles. Very nice price too.
I know a few guys here have mentioned they want a manual and nice ones RARELY come up. I would probably buy this if I didn't already have one.

Mine is selling at Rairdon's Kirkland Jeep, Dodge Chrysler.

Used Car Specials Near Seattle | Used Chrysler Dealer Serving Bellevue

Asking price is $28,787 but they will let it go for a little bit above KBB, if interested ask for Nate Hamblin, my Grand Cherokee SRT salesman, very nice guy to deal with.

The car just got detailed, it's beautiful and absolutely perfect and unmodified in any way.

Kinda sad I didn't wait for a manual... One month after I buy mine, the same color combo car was available in the same city I work in -___-

If anyone in the Boston area is interested in a 6MT, there is a '13 white on black and a '12 silver on black available:

huh ? Are you talking about the one I posted ?
I dont know about other areas of the country, but that WAS a great price for a 2012 low mileage manual. That car was sold within a day of being posted online.

I saw yours while I was shopping for one like a month ago, Almost contacted you to make an offer. But another one came up for sale from a private seller it was 2010 with less than 30k miles and it was much closer to me so I didn't have to ship it ended up getting it for $22,500. good luck with the sale.

I'm looking for a MY12+ AWD 6spd. It's like finding a unicorn. The ones in Boston are sold. The only one that is left on the east coast is in MD, which I drove. They are asking WAY too much for it. He's a "no haggle" dealer. I told him it won't sell for the asking price. He thinks it's such a rare car that someone will pay a premium. It will also need a new clutch soon.

Here is the listing: Search car listing

45000 miles asking for 29 plus for it ? Yeah that's high. But he may be right.
SOMEONE will pay for it because its a rare car. Why didn't you jump on the one I posted ?

I didn't see this thread until just now. I also don't get on AZ very often either.

We need to keep bumping this thread with cars for sale. That way they could get scooped by enthusiasts.

heres the deal. You have to be SURE you want it. As soon as these 2012-14 manuals come up, they are gone within days. I had the same car as you and feel the 4G 6 speed is better in every way.
If you go here
Acura | Certified Pre-Owned | Acura.com
Check for a TL manual EVERYDAY until one comes up in a 250 mile radius. They usually hit the acura website prior to autotrader, and you have to JUMP immediately if you hope to grab it.
And again this is why I laugh when no one says the car is rare, they have no clue how difficult it is to find a nice manual.
On a side note, they are usually priced fairly as well. USUALLY. Feel free to hit me up on pricing, I shopped these cars HARD for like 2-3 months so I know what a good deal is on them.

Guys - I have a 2012 white on black TL 6 MT for sale with 20k miles. It's under warranty through December 27 and is very clean. Let me know if you're interested before I trade it in... Would prefer for it to go to an enthusiast.

I'd post this in the for sale sub forum if I could figure out where that is. Maybe I don't have access because of insufficient posts? I've been a member here since I got the car, but have only lurked in the forum sparingly because the car has been so reliable.

Really ? What happened ? I heard Paragon Acura were morons in the past, but I wanted to post it because it is so difficult to find ANY 6 speed manual 4G's.

3 weeks ago I paid $32,950 (low end of KBB) for a certified white 13' TL SH-AWD 6-MT Tech w/19" advance wheels & 18k miles. Pristine condition. The dealer would not budge on the price, not even $500 and I worked them hard. I put earnest money down on the vehicle before pictures of it hit the internet, then flew to officially purchase & drive it home. Once I got to the dealer everyone seemed to want to share a story of how someone else wanted to buy it, pay more etc during the week before I arrived. What do you think about my price?

It was posted Monday night. They had no pictures or carfax. I called them on Tuesday and they said that they were just getting it cleaned up and I told them I was ready to buy. Richard, the sales guy, said he would get me the pictures and Carfax per my request. At that point, I asked about a deposit but they said its company policy that they can't do that. Didn't hear back from them all day. Wednesday I call, the car was sold late Tuesday night. So I told the sales managers the whole situation of lack of follow up from Richard. She stated I shouldve put down a non-fundable deposit. That's when I lost my cool. Apparently, Richard isn't part of the dealership team and works for them through a contract from AutoTrader. I basically told her that they lost a cash deal as a result.

That sucks. NJ/NY dealers(NJ thats close to NY) can be very shady IMO. I had a SIGNED agreement to buy a car from a jersey acura dealer, I had a deposit on the car, they initially built my trade in to the agreement but I agreed upon price prior to agreeing to trade in. When I called to pull my trade in because I had a private buyer, they called me a few hours later and said they "accidentally" sold my car the same day I agreed to buy it. Bullllssshhhhiiiittttt. I was so pissed that I complained to Acura. They did absolutely nothing. Useless. Glad you found a nice clean 6 spd man, as did I. The one I bought was nicer than the one I got dicked out of.

That's a pretty high price. But the reality is they could have probably gotten someone else to pay it or close to it. I was shopping 2013's in the 30k range with mileage in the low 20's and 2012' in the 27-28,500 range with similar low miles. But they didn't have the nicer wheels and mileage was a little higher, so that IS worth something. Plus they weren't always certified either.
So overall its a little high but if its the car you wanted in the grand scheme whats a few thousand one way or another . I was very fortunate to get my car in the 28 range with only 11k miles on it. But I took a leap of faith and bought it sight unseen from an Audi dealer. I did get an acura dealer to check it out prior to purchase and I just went with it. Post pics when u can.

Certification costs the dealer about $2500 & cash isn't music to their ears, they'd rather you finance the whole purchase price through them so the finance dept can make $1500 off you.

All the other TLs I was interested in were in Jersey/NY & they played certified schemes, one for instance was $30,000 w/25k miles, said Certified, but at the bottom of the listing on the website stated it was only an extra option which would cost more, and to boot that car was in an accident.

I would have liked to have paid $1500 less, but I would've had to call their bluff & walk away from the deal, but all said and done I got the exact car I wanted with low miles.

Well it's funny because the one that was at Paragon Acura has an accident reported on it. I had Autocheck catch it before the dealer post the Carfax on it. Paragon never did post the Carfax because of the accident I'm sure.

It's all good. I got exactly what I was looking for. No lost sleep here.

Car looks pretty nice. Their website is a pretty clear indicator how the manuals are much more valuable than a similar auto. Three thousand dollar premium to get the manual. And worth it IMO.

I can tell from looking for these cars for a while, that's a pretty decent price. You may want to start negotiating if the color really interests you, it wont last long. Plus scroll up in this thread, the owner of that car is a member here so I would talk to him direct if I were you.

Thanks. I am curious to see what he replaced it with. Does the tech package have an upgraded stereo?
