PlastiDipped my Front Grill

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share some photos of my front grill plastidipped in anthracite. The front grill was a son of a bitch to get off, but I didn't install the two side clips when I put it back, so it should be easier moving forward.

I also masked off the strip on the rear bumper and sprayed that as well.

What do you think?

Cant decide if i like the non-gloss look. Looks like you did a good job though. Definatly a step up!

I think its more semi gloss. Although when I first dipped it, it was very glossy. Iy dries less glossy though, which is too bad.

Looks really good, I bought an extra shield for the grill and rear bumper shield to play around with. Might have a local body shop color match them.

I used this on my wheels and really like the coverage and color...

Is your smooth? I put Glossifier on and its a bit "tacky"... Heard that's common, not sure what to do.

Normally I would just say to get it painted but that contrast doesn't look bad at all. Nice job.

BTW... I would take off that dealer sticker in the rear.

I was going to put glossifier on it, but decided to leave it as is. It's not as glossy as I want it, but it looks great in person. I wouldn't say its smooth, but it looks smooth.

I think it looks really good. You should do the chrome near the fogs too.

good job. i like the black instead of chrome. 90% of them time people on the road will not be able to tell the small difference in the non-gloss grill, but they will notice you have a 'custom' grill. i did the same as you, but i wrapped the front and back with a vinyl wrap.

I like it, you could always get a plastidip glossifier if you wanted to try out some shine.
