I think this is a good idea. I've been recently shopping for TLs since my G37 lease is up later this year, and all I really wanted was a base model with a spoiler and 18" wheels. I know those can be had as dealer installed options, but the keyless entry is another perk.

Hopefully these will be on dealer lots within the next month so I can price one out using all the great incentives right now. Could be around $350 lease payment...

Good luck, I hope you find what you are looking for. What color are you shooting for?

My top 3 color choices are:
Graphite Luster
White pearl
Black
Not necessarily in that particular order.

I would prefer the 6MT model, but even after all the incentives and rebates the lease payment isn't very attractive. The residuals on the tech package are horrible.

My 2009 has Key Fob recognition and adjust radio, seat, mirrors, and other presets. Shows in the NAV screen which key fob is active. Nothing new about that at all. Standard with all that came with Tech package. All I see is wheels and majority of the time when a special edition comes out it's badges and wheels. Maybe some different stitching on the seats but nothing really special in features.

^You can buy the TL with or without the Tech package.

You really think that different wheels and badges is the sign that it's going to be around for a while? Actually, that is exactly what many manufacturers do to prop up sales when a new model is about to come out. The 2013 Corvette is a perfect example - they made a one year only (short year at that) convertible with the Z06 engine.

It costs nothing in development or R&D to add a few features from the top line car to the bottom line car and give it different wheels.

Corrrrect. Acura has told its dealers/the public nothing about the "TLX", so expect the TL and TSX to be in production as-is for another 8-10 months.

Unless Acura does a surprisebuttsecks launch of the "TLX" by the end of the year, but that just won't happen. The new car is important, it needs a proper reveal, time for production to ramp up, dealer training, etc.

Dealerships haven't been informed of any sort of shakeup in the model line, so they're expecting MY2014 TLs and MY2014 TSXs to arrive as usual this fall...If someone has info to the contrary, please supply.
