A new 4G TL SH-AWD Owner

Hey All.

Just traded in my '09 TSX A/T for a 2010 M/T SH-AWD/Tech Tuesday. Found a good deal and couldnt justify the cost to mod out the TSX vs. the stock power of the SH-AWD TL. This thing is sick. This is actually my first foray into the V6 field and couldn't be happier. Historically, I have been a 4-banger guy. Old cars were a '92 Acura Integra (Fucking loved this guy) and then the '09 TSX which I also loved.

Found a deal on the TL SH-AWD. Black on black baby. 42k miles for $22k! Even swindled some new tires. It has some minor paint chips on the hood and a small/ugly chip out of driver rear door which is showing some rust (Acura CBP touch up paint in the mail, any tips on touch-up work would b appreciated!)

I'm looking forward to doing some mods. I actually installed a CTE ice box on the TSX last weekend, and then proceeded to remove it on monday before I traded it in.

Any advice from current SH-AWD users would be appreciated but here will be my current mod order.
1. Tint (20% all around)
2. CTE Ice Box
3. J Pipe
4. Magnaflows??
5. Lower ~1.5"
6. Decals (I read somewhere these make you super fast!)

Pics will come when tint is done. It looks naked without a nice tint job and I'm almost embarrassed without it.

Congrats. Not that I know much about paint work but from what I heard to get good results with the touch up paint you want to sand/buff afterwards so you have a smooth/even surface. If you don't it'll look similar to a bandage over skin.

I know what you mean, thing I hate most about being in a rental is not having tinted windows; there's no privacy, I feel like a fish on display.

Here's some pics. Just got it tinted with some ceramic at 20% all the way around. Also added some 10k HID's to the fog lights. They were going to be the philips 35W's but then I dropped one so I bought some JDMTOY HID replacements (I hear these arent the best, I hear hidkits.com has better ones but I didn't know it at the time). They came out a little more blue than I thought they would be but I think they are growing on me.

Also added the LED DRL kit from JDMTOY but have no pics right now.

Next step is I need to black out the headlights and replace the lens with some tsx-r's. The stock lens on the 4G TL kinda blow.

So here's the pics. Just got done waxin' her. So shiny....

edit- Does anyone know someone who would do an exchange program like ACKTL05 I'd appreciate it! Also looking for some sports pedals for MT. Cant find MT pedals for the 4G anywhere!

I want to change my user name to this now.

There sure is plenty of trunk space for some subs. Who needs a spare tire anyways?!
