Need Advice Battling Feral Cat

Recently my car has been a resting bed to a stray cat that’s leaving dirty paw prints and scratching my car’s finish. I tried to buy a cage to trap him but returned it due to my State’s Animal Shelters not accepting stray cats. So instead I bought a car cover. Neighbor seems to be feeding this cat. Any suggestions on getting it out of my yard and off my car?

My cheapo budget car cover.

Trap the cat, drive it 100 miles away, release the cat.

As much as I liked to do that but I can’t since my girlfriend has turned into an animal activist.

Seems like you already found a humane solution with the car cover

Thank you! I didn’t want to hurt the poor guy. I been scaring him every now and then so eventually he has been sitting on my trash cans.

Turn it into a shaggin' wagon. Chicks dig it. And cats are afraid of dogs

Cats like to find things to perch on. They see the world through very different eyes.

Easiest solution...make an anonymous call (about a free cat at your residence) to a local Chinese restaurant...

All funny suggestions thus far. So far the cat has been away from my yard since I bought one of those ultrasonic pest repellents that you stick in the grass with motion detection. Seen 2 cats toward the enterance but they never tried to step in my yard so it seems to be working.

I use tape to get a cat off of things I don't want them on. They hate sticky stuff.

It's a stray cat being relocated from one area to another. If the winter doesn't kill it (even by your place) it'll be more than fine. They hunt their food. They're pretty well equipped on surviving on their own. It's not like you're poisoning it or something.

Oh trust me I’ve been telling my girlfriend that but she doesn’t seem to get it. So far the cat doesn’t even get near the car cause of the ultrasonic repellent. I see him running away everytime he tries to enter the yard. I wonder how long it’ll last till he gets use it. Like you said they adopt quickly to
their environment. Lol That double side tape trick wouldn’t be a bad idea if didn’t have all these damn insects crawling in the car at night. Losiglow thanks for the laugh, buddy. I never seen a car dressed up like that. As for the Chinese restaurant I actually seen 2 stray cats hanging outside by side one in my area.

A few people told me that it keeps them away. Haven't had a chance to try it.
