Manual paddle shifting issue

I've had this problem ever since the day I took ownership. At first, I just chalked it up to a misunderstanding of how the system works. However, I have recently researched this as well as performed extensive behind the wheel tests.
The problem is: my right paddle does not get a signal to the transmission to upshift. The transmission downshifts and upshifts fine in both modes. The left paddle downshifts the transmission in both modes. The right paddle does nothing.
I did a search but could not find anything. My local repair shop doesn't even know where to start.
Just writing this in the hopes that someone else had experienced this issue and could point to a fix.
Thanks

I'm just glad I've never experienced that issue. Sounds wacky.

If you think about it, it has to be either the paddle itself or a disconnect in the wiring. My Indy said they want to do some research before I even bring my car in to have the computer hooked up to it. Sounds odd, but I'd rather they do their research first than do it on my dime. Will keep you posted.

Not really weird IMO, they're just doing their research.

There's probably some tech manual and troubleshooting steps that they're gotta look up, make sure they have the right computer stuff, etc.

It's awesome they're thinking to do that ahead of time.

Most of my driving is in Manual Mode, the paddles will upshift and downshift in both modes, so there is something wacky going on with yours.

I also think that your Indy is going about it the right way, better for them to research on their own dime. Keep us posted !

So the tech disconnected the paddle, reconnected it, now works perfect.
